We are bringing the American Freedom Tour to Raystown Lake at Seven Points Amphitheater Saturday July 5th 2008 titled The 1st Annual Summer Freedom Concert.  Click here to view the poster and press release. We are planning to build this as weekend music event.  An all day event is already set for Saturday July 4th 2009. We have been busy working with the US Army Corp of America and local business's to ensure success. The 2nd Annual American Freedom Concert will be held Saturday August 30th 2008 form 7:00pm to 10:00pm at Lakemont Park Altoona, Pa.  Last year’s event we raised $10,000 for our US troops in need working with the Nation VFW Military Assistance Program.  This year’s event will be bigger and better to include a larger venue, stage, sound and lighting and a special DVD presentation on large screens. Once again this concert will be professionally filmed live, which will include lots of audience clips of the grand flag waving ceremonies. Ricky is in the planning stages to produce another "American Freedom Concert" at the National Mall Landmark, in Washington D.C., on September 11, 2008. Honoring 9/11 and all who have made the Ultimate Sacrifice. This will be a free concert open to the public so we are currently seeking, sponsors, organizations and volunteers to help with the planning and production cost. Ricky is currently working on a promotional campaign with the National VFW to help promote their mission. This will feature a few of Ricky's patriotic songs.

Ricky Lee Entertainment will be partnering with US VETERANS MATTER, a wonderful Non-profit organization that supports our troops and inspires those in need.

The "II Annual American Freedom Concert" will be held on Saturday August 30Th 2008. Due to the huge success of 2007 event we are moving this event to the Newry Lions Club Park located directly behind Leighty's Farm Market in Newry, PA. This is a beautiful 17 acre park with more amenity's. This will allow for more events, vendor's and a much larger audience. New for this year, The "American Star Search," This will be a 6 week singing competition held at local area venues with the finals held at this years AFC.
"The Memorial Bike Show," Bikes from across the country decorated in full military honor. This years event will go out in style with the "Ultimate Sacrifice Fireworks Display". We are now in the planning stages for an aggressive marketing and promotional campaign which will include all media outlets radio, TV, newspaper and billboards. The poster has a tentative schedule. On Saturday December 15th Ricky Lee & the Mustangs will present a Christmas Concert HONORING OUR HEROES FOR THE HOLIDAYS held at the Hollidaysburg Area Sr High School Auditorium. Proceeds will benefit FOP Bald Eagle Lodge #51 and Project Santa a wonderful non profit originization that sends care packages to our troops all through the year. Ricky is currently writing new material for a new CD, no release date is set. PA State Senator John Eichelberger and Ricky Lee encourage kids to "Catch A Dream" click here to read the press release. Ricky has created the "Catch A Dream Foundation." This will be a non-profit organization to encourage the future of America to reach for their dreams and to award educational scholarships. This will also include the Catch A Dream School Tour. We are currently under construction with the web site www.catchadream.us. This will be an educational web site were students can learn and get information and also do activities. They will be able to communicate with one another on problem solving and questions through the Dream book link. We will introduce the Catch A Dream Contest, this will be a monthly contest were we will choose a project performed on the web site. Winners will receive movie passes,certificates of national chain retailers and electronics such as IPod's. Click on the CATCH A DREAM button on the bottom of the website for more details.

I apologize for the website being down, but we are back and we have a new look! We really hope you like it! There are alot of things happening right now and alot of really positive things are moving forward. Of course we will fill you in when they become a definate.

We have some very big news! Ricky is working on a huge concert in Legion Park, Hollidaysburg, PA. Be sure to come out and have a great time while supporting our military heroes! The VFW, Shy Beaver and Xpress Rent A Car have all joined in sponsoring this event. It's going to be a blast and we hope to see you all there!! An Armed Forces Day Honoring.
Ricky will perform a special musical tribute at "The Wall That Heals" beginning at 1:00pm. He will perform songs he has written in honor of our soldiers both past and present. This performance will include a special rendition of his song entitled "A Place Where The Angels Call Home", dedicating the song to all of our fallen heroes. This event will be held on May 19th, 2007 at "The Wall That Heals." All service men and women will be honored for their service to our country on the grounds of the James E. Van Zandt Medical Center, in Altoona.

An update for the YMCA concert… it looks very promising that there will be a military fly over to begin the concert, followed by a beautiful rendition of "God Bless America" performed by Ricky. In addition, the US Army will bring there "Fire Simulators" that you will able to demonstrate. They are also bringing their dog tag maker. The US Army will provide a special "Army & Ricky Lee Dog Tag" these will be made for all that would like one Free. Prior to the concert there will be an Antique Car and Bike Show and a Women's Boutique, along with many food venders starting at 2:00pm. Last but not least the concert in Savannah, GA was amazing and we got to meet and hang out with the pro golfers of the PGS Tour. They have invited us back for two more concerts in August and November. Stay tuned for more!

I am truly honored to have been asked to write a song for Relay for Life…which I just completed titled "I’m A Survivor". We will soon head into the studio to record this song, accompanied by cancer survivors, singing along with me on the last two choruses. This project will help raise awareness and funds for this horrible decease that effects millions. We will have a demo version of this song to listen to soon.

We are in the planning stages of a very special project to take place in late November 2007. I have reached out to the Greater Johnstown Visitors Bureau to help with a benefit concert for our wounded soldiers’ families in central PA. 100% of the proceeds will go to help with their travel expense, to visit with their love ones while in recovery. After my performance at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, I was very moved by seeing the sacrifices these soldiers and their families endure. Many of these families don’t have the funds to make these trips. Most of these soldiers have already served two terms of duty, being separated from their family, now dealing with depression and loneliness, I plan to help make a difference.

I have teamed up with Toftrees Golf Resort & 105.9 Joe FM both located in State College PA, to promote a concert. This will be held in the ballroom at Toftrees Resort on June 22nd from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. "Limited tickets so buy early". Come out and meet your favorite Joe FM on air personnel along with your chance to win door prices at the live action broadcast the day of the concert.
Tune in at 105.9 FM for your chance to win advance tickets.

I will be back in state College on July 14th from 7:30 to 8:30 for an outdoor concert at Memorial Field this will take place during Arts festival.

We will be promoting a huge outdoor concert Saturday September 1st from 6:00pm to 9:30 pm at the "American Legion Park" in Hollidayburg PA. Opening Acts, vender's and sponsors will be announced soon.

We will perform an outdoor concert at Tussey Mountain Resort in Boalsburg, PA during "Rib Fest" on July 29th from 6:50 to 8:10. Hope to see you all there.
